Beyond the shimmering
Beads of tear in your eyes,
I see an endless ocean
Reaching out with a thousand arms
Of incessant waves
For a shore to…shatter on

Beyond the gentle stir
Of your restrained sighs
I hear the distant rumble
Of a tempest trapped
Seeking an open door
To blow out from
