CONFESSION OF A PORN STAR

I dun no- I like it I do not like it.

I do it. I do not want to do it.

I am in this; I am into this, dun no how.

The choice was purely mine.

Choice to come off it is again mine,

But not able to make a one,

I am an entertainer and I entertain.

Do I loose my soul? No, I don’t,

We are professionals. It is a profession. No guilt,

Then but I dun no.

I do it. I am doing it.

There are times, I dun like my co-pair

No choice, I concentrate on his nails, fingers

I am paid, No not as of from him. From the people,

Who sells my visuals – I am no prostitute

I am an entertainer

I like it.

I dun no!

    I liked VK Rajan poem- ‘The Prostitute’. I thought on it and I thought. I would write something on adult entertainers. However, I have my doubt on these performers. Do u think they are really professionals? Or just a bunch of sick, confused people like in the poem. Do they feel guilty at times?

    My own poem that I have written, I do not know is it really a confession from my character in the poem.

    I have my doubts. I would like a real, heart-felt comment from every one on this.

    well hard hitting.we never take porn stars seriously.even they deserve the appreciation for their hard work!

    Yes its very true about porn stars..!
    its just a profession that they chose.

    its very very nice that we can atleast spare some contempt and consideration for these 'entertainers'.
    they are beautiful and satisfy million peoples thirst. i think in a way that is a social service.
    and keeping aside their profession i honestly think porn stars are very beautiful with the physique..although fake.but who cares right.?
    beautiful is beautiful..!

    I think that there are some prostitutes who like their job...at least they do not want to work hard and care two hoots for dignity and things like that. Yet, unless a poet imagines, there won't be many things in this sorry world we live in.

    prostitutes generally do not become prostitutes by choice. mostly they are subject to poverty and get into the business for easy money and once they are in its harder to get out. and no contempt is justified as they work just hard enough too :)

    Thanks for this response, i kind of did few research on them and this is what i have arrived at: porn actors r usually professionals and they r more clean.

    Since they go through this medical check-up constantly, they r less vulnerable 2 sexual diseases.

    And they r not simply a bunch of sick people.

    I can agree with rush-me that they r doing a kind of social services.

    And i guess we cannot simply term them as prostitutes.

    US N UK r the biggest porn ind. in the world and employs equal no. of people like in hollwood n bollywood. They also form an imp. part of this countries economy as it is more than a billion dolloar ind.
