Please don’t ring the doorbell
Please don't ring the doorbell!
I am doing my homework,
And cleaning my messy shoe!
The homework’s due on Monday
And I have just one day!
And no time to play!
And no time to stay!
As for the shoe,
I would make it shine
In just an hour
Or just before 9
As for the doorbell,
I have removed it!
And leave It, never to ring
Never to hit!
So,
Please don’t ring the doorbell
Please don’t do!

ReplyDeleteyou knoow this poem written in the view point of a kid who is busy polishing his "shoes"..wellall i want to know is how in the world can you write somthing that i can always relate to..!..( i mean always)..:-)
