Reflections

The Blackened moon sky

And the mystic moonlight

Reflects her words in my mind!

YELLOW

I am yellow,
Bit in dawn, more in dusk.
I am origin of gold, I feel so bold.
I feel so proud, people like me throughout.

In yellow pages, or in golden era,
Things follow my name, as I have earned fame.
Even rainbow can’t stand without me feeling shame,
The spirit of mine is worth its name,
I felt to conquer water by changing it yellow.

Being proud I went across, seeing a house burning in yellow flames,
I felt ashamed hurting others, but it was me who did.
I stopped being public and stayed calm,
But I know people remember my charm!

Path of Success

Searching my lost identity, I followed the path of success,
Passing the lovely path, I found lovely successful people.
Few liked me, few hated, but all were successful,
I greeted their comments and followed the path of success.

Lost in my vicinity, I came to dead end,
Broken, lost, I recollected where I went wrong.
As I followed same path other successful people followed,
Looked around everywhere, only to find no one to support.

I started returning as I remembered people I met,
They had one thing in common, they never gave up.
I turned to dead end, searched way out for very long,
My strength was my soul, I heard and kept trying.

Finally I was through and successful too,
But learnt one thing, there is no such path of success.
We make it, if we have it in us.
Still I have a lot to achieve than to loose.

The Silver Star--a children's poem

I saw a silver star high up in the sky,

This was so bright shining with glow!

I guessed that I had my company for the day

And began to talk to it as I started with a slight "HELLO"!

It told me that it could see everything from above

It also saw two lovebirds proposing their love.

It could see greenery over the hills

Also an old grandmother swallowing some pills!

It could see the penguins in the snow

And also two men involved in a row!

It could see the bright moon and the blue sea

Also a little baby drinking tea!

And finally at midnight the cute little Silver Star began to snore

And I suddenly realized that it was four.

I went in to my room and slept

Forgetting the Silver Star as dawn slowly crept...

O My Love! I Will Never Forget you......

Concept of this poem—

A man who has recently lost his wife remembers and recollects certain nostalgic thoughts about his wife. Though I am still a student and not married, something in me wanted to imagine a situation like this and I poured out my feelings and thoughts…

O MY LOVE! I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU......

I will never forget,
The enchanting smile on your lips
And your tender touch
Freezing my heart
When you bid goodbye…
On your deathbed!
Embracing me closer and tighter
Never wanting to let me go!

I will never forget,
The undying spark of passion you possessed
Missing me with every breath
And the longing you had to see me
In the deepest corner of your heart!

I will never forget,
How sincere, trustworthy and lovable you were
And the unconditional love you had,
In your heart, with no bounds!

I will never forget,
The precious sensuous moments we shared together!
The greatest feeling we experienced when we made love!
Forgetting all pains and sorrows, we had in life.

After all,
I will never forget
That special you!
The flame of my love!
The angel of my mind!
The light and dream of my life!
The joy of my soul!
The rainbow of my heart!
My dearest wife!
My sweet rose!
I will now leave you like a friend!
Farewell my love!
I will never forget you!

THY ETERNAL LIGHT OF HAPPINESS

Let me sail away,

To the sandy shore

To the place where there is bliss!

Let me fly away,

To the sky

To the place where there is endless peace!

Let me run away,

To tranquility

To the place where there is love!

Let me walk away,

To eternity

To the place where there is beauty!

All with the Divine Lord

Away from troubles and sorrows,

With my mind and soul,

Shedding Thy eternal light of happiness!

PEACE

Peace
The thought which brings tear in our eyes,
For those millions of people, who showered their lives.
That great day hasn't occured yet at least.
When each and every person can live in peace.

This war is on from years,
Two World wars has already brought many tears.
Soldiers at border daily die,
Leaving their beloved to cry.

If i am not forced to tell lie,
We all are responsible for this cry.
Stop saying it's job of others.
Otherwise we all will die and nobody bothers.

Changing our way of thinking,
For saving our lifeship from sinking.
We can bring love and peace,
It will have to come crawling on it's knees.

Then at border no gun speaks,
Birds will start comming back on their trees.
The day for which we waited long,
Will be here if i am not wrong.

THE DAY AT THE POND--FUNNY POEM

I went to the pond today,

To see the ducks and the fish.

It was such a beautiful day

It should certainly rain, I wish!

The fishes were swimming,

The ducks were quacking,

I was standing there smiling and laughing!

Soon I fell asleep among the bushes,

I never knew I would return home with stitches!

Because an alligator bit me and tore my clothes!

But then I saw that I had no toes!

OH DEAR! OH DEAR!

I started to scream!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

But that one my dear friends,

Has to be a weird little bad dream!

I LOVE MY RAINCOAT-CHILDREN'S POEM

THIS ONE GOT PUBLISHED IN OPEN SESAME, MONTHS AGO! I WILL SHARE IT WITH YOU ALL!

I always wear my raincoat

Usually in the rain,

Sometimes in my bathroom,

Sometimes in a moving train.

The color of my raincoat is blue

And it has a big hole that,

Anyone can see through.

So I better fix it up with some glue!

Or I'll catch a deadly flu,

With all those dew!

Without my raincoat,

I cannot go out

I can never,

Or my mom would shout!

After all I just love my raincoat.

It's the best thing in the whole world

I quote!

I quote!

Hope At The End Of The Tunnel

HOPE AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL

(4 LINES OF THIS POEM GOT PUBLISHED IN THE HINDU-YOUNG WORLD. I WROTE THIS WITH A LOT OF HOPE...)

I woke up a damp, gloomy day,

With a sense of despair and loss.

Things hadn't happened my way,

It had turned worse and so cross!

But as I opened my window,

Then I saw a sight,

Which rather shook me with delight.

It was the sunshine which was so beautiful and bright!

The rays kissed me and filled me with hope.

Then I knew that I had nothing to lose

As God had given me everything!

So I happily opened my mouth to sing

The sweet song of joy which is in me springing

That tells me to keep on hoping!

That tells me to keep on hoping!

THE MESSENGER OF LOVE

I fly high into the sky

Humming a tune,

I am the white dove

Who spreads messages of love!

I am the mediator

Who is the prophet of peace!

So convey your message

Into my ears

Have no fears

And shed no tears!

For it's already dawn

Now, I must be gone!

Into the light

Where I must belong

Singing a happy merry song!

I am the white dove

Who spreads messages of love!

Every Moment Is A Blessing

Every moment is a blessing!

Every moment is joy!

Every moment is a delight!

To love,

To Enjoy!

Troubles may come!

Like a lightening from the sky!

But soon it will go

Into the Dust,

Into the Snow!

So my dear friend

Please be calm

And enjoy every moment

Till the core!

My Beautiful Christmas Tree

My Beautiful Christmas tree

(I wrote this one for last Christmas!)

I have seen you from my childhood,

You are always bright-lit filled with glow!

Once a seedling you were,

Still you stand in the snow!

You are the evergreen tree I love,

Showering with blessings from God above!

Though you are dull and so old,

You are to me a tree of gold!

This Christmas time

I am bursting with glee,

Because you'll just make a beautiful Christmas tree!

I WILL COME FOR YOU- INSPIRATIONAL POETRY

i just wrote an inspirational poem from my heart..after writing it I suddenly felt that it was so good..maybe it will attract millions who want to know the meaning of this poem..maybe nobody may like it as it seems ordinary...but i will deep in my heart.. this one is my best for years to come!

I WILL COME FOR YOU

WHEN THE TREETOPS GLISTEN,
AND SLEIGH BELLS RING
WHEN AUTUMN ARRIVES,
WITH THE RUSTLING LEAVES
I WILL COME FOR YOU!

WHERE THE MOON SHINES,
WHEN THE SUN SETS.
AND THE STARS GLITTER,
IN THE LAND OF THE WEST.
I WILL COME FOR YOU!

WITH PURE LOVE,
AND GOOD SIGHT.
WITH A KIND HEART ,
AND WITH A FACE SO BRIGHT.
I WILL COME FOR YOU

SO KEEP NO WORRIES ,
AND HAVE NO FEAR!
SHED NO TEAR,
FOR I WILL BE NEAR!

IN THIS TIME OF THE YEAR..
I WILL COME FOR YOU...

Paradise tears Of golden Joy

PARADISE TEARS OF GOLDEN JOY

I got the idea from my dream which was a dream i never experiencd before..i was in a forest filled with golden rain..imagine..i got this lovely dream of golden rain...don't have the words to describe it...

Walking in the beautiful forest

In the dazzling sunlight

With the whispering of the wind

In a place so wonderful,

In a place so quiet!

I smelled a flower

And sang a lovely song

Happiness was in the air

It would last all day long!

But suddenly I looked at the sky

It was raining gold

Gold and Gold

Those a million hands would hold!

With joy bursting out of my heart

I was drenched in a few golden drops

And never wanted the golden rain to stop!

For it bathed me with joy

The secret ecstasy, I should enjoy!

It was God’s grandeur which was bidding

Paradise’s tears of golden joy!

School's Open

SCHOOL'S OPEN
(Well I was just desperate to write a poem, as I hadn't written one in a short while.and I came out with this!!!)
(What will I do on the second day of school? Find out!)
I packed my bags and Tiffin box,
And rushed out in the hot sun.
School would not be so cool,
But still it can be fun!

I would make new friends today,
And learn a lot of new things!
But, when the teachers are a little strict,
Then, I would get some hard beatings!

Dogs are barking.
Birds are chirping.
Monkeys are swinging.
They all are looking at the yummy Tiffin box,
That I am happily bringing!

We would sit in class
And make rockets,
When the teacher’s not looking,
And hide them in our pockets!

After all I am going to school!
With a new smile
Now, please get away
For a short while!

TEA TIME-NID'S KIDS JOURNAL-2

Kids journal 1 will be posted soon. There is some problem in posting that...

Its tea time children! have some tea and read this poem about teatime..

Tea time

Eh! Come on all out!

It’s tea time!

No time to shout!

Come on all out!

Let’s all drink lemon tea

Mama’s by the door

Grandpa sitting on the floor

And Dad’s got the whole tea

That he is going to pour

We all rush out

Grabbing the tea pots

And spilling the tea

On the ground

After we fought!

Oh dear!

There’s no more tea left!

Uh... No more tea pots!

Never mind!

We’ll all drink tea tomorrow

Well, there is much time we’ve got!

A children's poem I wrote- Please don't ring the doorbell

Please don’t ring the doorbell

Please don't ring the doorbell!

Please don’t do!

I am doing my homework,

And cleaning my messy shoe!

The homework’s due on Monday

And I have just one day!

And no time to play!

And no time to stay!

As for the shoe,

I would make it shine

In just an hour

Or just before 9

As for the doorbell,

I have removed it!

And leave It, never to ring

Never to hit!

So,

Please don’t ring the doorbell

Please don’t do!

I am doing my homework,

And cleaning my messy shoe!
